Solo Projects: Cinematic Double Bass & Modern Explorations

Sound as an Autopsy of Experience

As a solo artist and professional double bassist based in Gdańsk, Poland, I treat sound as a tool for documenting the unutterable. My work explores the fragile boundaries where organic acoustic textures meet electronic synthesis. Personal narratives—from the isolation of a pandemic to the physical echo of surgical recovery—become universal sonic journeys. By blending contemporary double bass techniques with cinematic arrangements, I create music that bridges the gap between modern classical music and ambient jazz.

Transplant Music (upcoming 2026)

„A journey from surgery to sound”

A profound sonic narrative of regeneration and sacrifice, composed during recovery following a transplant surgery. This upcoming album is a raw, organic dialogue between survival and the fragility of life. The compositions are led by the haunting voice of the cello and my signature jazz double bass. This cinematic double bass soundscape is built on a unique foundation of ambient synthesizers and the weathered, percussive soul of a salvaged piano.

Featuring: Maja Maseli (violin), Szymon Burnos (salvaged piano), BPMoore (drums – UK), and a lead role for the cello.

I Have Absolutely Nothing to Say, so Listen (2021)

Sonic Records of a Silent World

Released on Rhodium New York, I Have Absolutely Nothing to Say, so Listen is a paradoxical manifesto of a composer finding his voice in the silence of isolation. Marking my debut as a music producer, the album is a complex, international collaboration involving 13 musicians from around the world.

The music is a fluid mosaic that defies simple categorization. It seamlessly blends the melancholic depths of the acoustic double bass with rich string arrangements, cinematic synthesizers, and intricate percussion. It is a brooding yet captivating journey through modern classical textures and dark ambient jazz, born from the need to translate personal experiences into a universal sonic language.
